The city administration's development achievements throughout 2023 focus on several priorities, such as transportation, flood management, handling stunting, poverty, and increasing the democracy index. In the PPD 2024 assessment, the city proposed a program from the Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) which innovated to present 'Gerai Memulai Usaha' (Outlet Starting a Business).
This innovation is useful for providing certainty to the business community regarding business licensing. Services include assistance and consultation provided to business actors, from application to permit issuance. Gerai Memulai Usaha is available at DPMPTSP offices at sub-district, sub-district, city and provincial levels, including public facilities such as MRT stations, markets, and malls in Jakarta.
National Development Planning (PPN) Minister/Bappenas Head, Suharso Monoarfa, said that the regional development award assessment consisted of two stages. The first stage is the assessment of planning documents and regional innovation documents. In the second stage, interviews and verification were done through discussion group forums and field visits.
